UNKnowN Speed Date Event

Shout out to all singles who love art! Say goodbye to the summer heat 🌞 and hello to new connections! As many of you already know, UNKnowN_ArtGallery is dedicated to being a space where people can connect through a shared love for art. That’s why we’re excited to announce our very first Speed Dating event!

Enter UNKnowN Gallery Amsterdam, and leave with a date, a new friend, or ar least a new favorite artist. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with others through their mutual interest in art, getting to know each other as they discover their favorite pieces in the gallery. All of this will be accompanied by a DJ set provided by Mas Amor, Amazing singer Luka Bloom creating the perfect atmosphere.

For this event, we decided to put a creative spin on traditional speed dating rules! Instead of the usual random shuffling, guests will use the artworks displayed at the gallery to spark connections. The participants will mingle with each other based on their preferences for the artists featured in the ongoing exhibition. With multiple rounds, everyone will get a chance to chat with all the guests at least once. Whether you like a particular piece or absolutely loathe it, you will meet someone who shares a similar taste, or gain a fresh perspective from someone who disagrees. In any case, the art will be your helping hand in discovering each other’s tastes and preferences in no time!

Oh, and if you struggle to come up with conversation topics--- we got you! Everyone will be given a list of prompt questions, ranging from silly to deep topics, so you don’t have to worry about any awkward silences.

We start at 20.00 so make sure to come on time! All the drinks provided by our friends at Brouwerij 't IJ and Chateau Amsterdam are free within the first hour!
