Cenk Duzyol

Before Duzyol was an artist, he was a collector. It was only during the COVID lockdown that he began seriously practicing the craft.

Now, he is an established artist working with a wide range of artistic mediums besides painting, such as photography and film. Working from his home in Istanbul, the artist reflects the vibrancy of the Turkish art scene through his signature use of a bright color palette. Duzyol explains that it adds a sense of optimism to the troubled subjects of his paintings. He hopes that the cheerful colors will help the audience see the humor in these otherwise unfavorable situations, providing traces of hope.
