The pieces seek to reinterpret the ancient tradition of marble sculptures depicting deities in human form by representing the divine through the busts’ glass bead makeup. The variation of size and colour of the beads fosters an interplay between the statue and the changing lights which surround it, lending them their iridescent glow and extravagant imagery.
